From the desk of Jensen Maass:

I am a transplant from London, England, now living in the Santa Cruz, California area.

For the last fourteen years I have practiced and studied various forms of art, and particularly the decorative arts.

Over the years I have studied specialist finishes at the Day Studio in San Francisco, wood carving with Agrell and Thorpe in Sausalito, fine art in Florence, Italy, and composition ornament application with J.P. Weaver in Los Angeles.

Most of my career has been in the transformation of houses. I have worked on houses from Carmel to San Francisco including renovation of the mission at San Juan Bautista, and the house of the famous Joe Montana in Atherton.

However, I have no awe of wealth and fame, I am just as happy doing a bathroom in Santa Cruz, as a palace in Pebble Beach.

Artistic integrity is probably my guiding light, if the project is interesting, I'm in. It makes me happy to transform anyone's house who will appreciate it.
